GOLD FOR AMELIA AT THE INTER REGIONAL TOURNAMENT

Sedgefield Water Polo Club would like to congratulate Amelia Henderson who was part of the U18 girls North East team, who came away in first place with a very well deserved gold medal at the Inter Regional tournament held at the Palatine Leisure Centre, Blackpool on 4th & 5th February.

North East Steelers celebrated a 16-7 win over Scotland in their first match, followed by subsequent wins against South West Sharks (11-6), South East Anderida (13-5) and North West Thunder (14-12).

Amelia was also part of the U14’s team 4 years ago where she also won a gold medal, as well as being part of the U16’s team 2 years ago winning a silver medal.
