SEDGEFIELD SPORTS AWARDS - JUNIOR CLUB OF THE YEAR 2014

Our Club won Junior Sports Club of the year in September at the Sedgefield Sports Awards and we now go forward to the County Finals on 10th October.

All the members and parents are over the moon that all their hard work, dedication and determination has paid off!

After a year that saw the club host a mini water polo tournament for 6 primary schools in Newton Aycliffe, we are now looking for new members to come along and try out this exciting sport. Members can learn to be a team player, whilst enjoying being part of a winning team and improving their health by building and maintaining their personal fitness levels. If you are aged between 6-18yrs and enjoy swimming, you should strongly consider coming along for a free taster session any Saturday night at 5pm at Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre.

We are a well established club which runs between the pools at Newton Aycliffe leisure centre, Spennymoor leisure centre and Woodham Academy – providing 6 sessions per week. The club will not only help improve your overall swimming, but will also teach you about the exciting and highly competitive game of Water Polo.
